There are four essential elements intrinsic to creating a Byrne & Burge piece: cut, style, fit and cloth. The Byrne & Burge cut is based on the ideals of proportion. We create an elegant and slim shape by allowing the silhouette to flow in an unbroken line from shoulder to floor. The house style is understated and sophisticated, reminiscent of the 1930s. Ideals of form are adapted to complement each client's  particular lifestyle and physique. 

 

Fittings are an integral part of the Couture and Bespoke service. We offer as many fittings as necessary to achieve the perfect fit. Traditional tailoring techniques and practices give shape to each garment in a natural way. The materials used in each garment speak volumes about the person wearing it. Thus, we offer a selection of fine cloths appropriate to the client and the purpose of the garment.
